My name is Mandy Walsh. Having spent over 15 years in the travel trade I realised that it was becoming more difficult to offer my clients the attention to detail they deserved whilst working in a traditional travel agency, so I was delighted to become a home working Travel Counsellor. 

Home-working gives me the flexibility to work the hours that suit my clients including weekends and evenings. This way I offer a service that most would consider beyond the call of duty - but I value my clients and believe they are worth it.

As a Travel Counsellor I offer a professional personalised service for all types of holidays and travel, whether it is a family or a large group. In October 2008, I was awarded 'Gold' status - an award given in recognition of my high level of sales and service mainly because I pride myself on offering a level of commitment and expertise that is unrivalled. In November 2008, I was delighted to achieve 'Best Newcomer to Ireland'.

I have travelled extensively throughout Europe and have also travelled in Asia (7 weeks in Thailand - North to South), the Caribbean, the USA and I lived in Australia for 15 months visiting New Zealand and Bali. I also revisited Australia and travelled as a family with an infant so have experienced the anxiety and stress of going abroad with a little one – now I can help parents feel at ease if travelling in the same situation. Recently I was lucky enough to experience South Africa including Cape Town, the Garden Route & Safari. A truly amazing adventure.

I am an Aussie specialist, long haul holidays and honeymoons are my forte and I have organised numerous honeymoons and weddings abroad. I had my own wedding in the Caribbean so I have first hand knowledge of the pitfalls and definitely the advantages of the fairytale day abroad!

I am an avid skier and have skied in resorts throughout Europe. I have also skied in Australia – yes they have snow there!!

My regular clients’ book with me whenever they travel and always recommend me to their family, friends and colleagues and one thing they will tell you is that I am enthusiastic and passionate about travel.
