I'm only starting to look now at dresses, and I'm getting married on the 19th of may next. I had a look at the dress, but I have to say like on the day itself I didn't think much of Kates dress, it just wouldn't be my cup of tea. Too plain and old fashioned I think.

Just looking for some advice girls. How far in advance do you start looking for your dress??

I think if you look too early then there the risk that you would see something different of nicer and be sorry with the one you chose, I don't think there's any harm having an idea, but from my sister and friends etc., they all seem to start looking about 12 to 18 months max. before the wedding. But there isn't really any set rules.

Have you an idea of what style, colour, you would like ?

Its not the dress that im worried about, its more her being annoyed that I went shopping.

Why would somebody be annoyed that you went shopping, if you don't do that you won't find a dress!

With just a year to go now I thought I better start really looking for my dress, so I went and had a look at the new place in Trim, abelle bridal. I have to say some really beautiful dresses and they were fairly reasonable too as prices go. The girl is lovely and there's definitely 2 that i'm going to go back and try on again.
