Would you buy your wedding dress online

Would you buy your wedding dress online

Postby pintsize52 » Wed Mar 03, 2010 7:32 pm

Hi Ladies,

Im looking for opinions please if at all possible….. I like every newly engaged person had spent many hours going through wedding books and websites looking at various different dresses / Styles and of course stockists…. Needless to say I will have to live on lipotrim for about 2 months before I even attempt to try one of these dresses on but I have to say that I love Alfred Angelos designs…. Would you be tempted to purchase a dress online I guess is what im trying to say I came across a site a few weeks ago that makes replica designer dresses for €150. Maybe dresses that would cost up on €1000 for that price… Would it be worth buying one in a bigger size just to see what the quality is like?

Would you do it?

these type of dresses seem to go either way, either they are just as good as the original or its money down the drain on nothing more than bits of material sewn together with thread. i personaly think if you can afford to risk the 150 then go for it, it might be the biggest saving you'll make in the wedding plans :)

:sSig_agreed: If you can afford to take the risk then go for it hun, like gracie said, it could be the biggest saving you've ever made! I've heard both good and bad stories about ebay and lightinthebox.com, so I would absoloutely take the time to check the online supplier out first. Their communication skills are a great pointer as to whether they're trustworthy or not. A good seller will give you peace of mind and they'll keep you up to date with tracking your order etc. And they wont leave you hanging for days on end when you email them either! Good luck pet, and keep us posted on what you decide! ;)

the only thing i can imagine about getting one made is that it might end up much more expensive than one bought in store. but in saying that if money was no object i would consider it becasue the dress would be just how you want it, it would be very special on the day and afterwards because it was made especially for you
