I find it very strange that there is no name for the shop there - Its hardly the local OXFAM is it?

I live in Sligo, but wow, that's some pretty awesome price for a wedding gown!

I never got to enjoy the whole 'let's go dress shopping' thing, I was out one day with a friend and we walked past a bridal store which had a sale on so she dragged me inside and said 'ah sure we'll just have a nose around'. I ended up trying on two dresses, fell in love with the second one and the rest is history!
Don't do what I did!! I'd say draw the process out as long as possible and really enjoy it hun!

Oh deffinitely. There's a girl on another forum who is going mad now because she saw one dress she loved, but she kept an appointment with another shop the next day and fell in love with another dress entirely! Now she hasn't a clue what to do! I say quit while you're ahead!

Re: Dresses on Ben Dunne
Well, I bought my dress three years ago!
We were planning to get married August 2007, but I fell pregnant so we put it all off. I'd already bought my dress then! Luckily it was the only thing we'd bought, no deposits down or anything. So now in the last couple of months i've been trying to lose some of that annoying baby weight to fit back into the damn thing!
It's okay now, I can get into it, but it's very tight and i can't sit down very comfortably...!
Moral of this story, go ahead and buy your gown early, just as long as 1. You wont get bored of it after a few months and decide you don't like it, and 2. don't let your weight fluctuate!!!
