Wedding Dress Shopping Dublin

Re: Dress shopping

I went online and had a look at some dresses today with my mother and sister, there were some lovely ones but nothing really jumped out at me so far, I don't know if I want white or Ivory, I don't know which would suit me best yet. I suppose I'll know when I find the right dress. I've lots of time yet but I want to try and pick the dresses and suits early so I can be paying money off them.

I saw a lovely ivory wedding dress in the window of a bridal shop on my way home from work today, was stopped at traffic lights right beside the window I think it's The Bridal Corner there at Harts Corner, Glasnevin, it's called.

There was 5 or 6 in it but this style caught my eye and it was only €399.00 on sale, I think excellent value, I think I'm going to see if they have in my size tmrw and leave work early to try it on. Even if they had the next size down, I am losing weight so that would do.

I don't want a wedding dress that's too fancy or too plain, this is in their new wedding dress collection on the site, but it's quite similar too this. I hope they have the size now.

That's a beautiful dress, if you could get similar to that in your size and at that price it would be an absolute steel. It really is beautiful.

I think it's great that its under the prom section on the net. That means that not many peopl ewill have seen it as a bridal dress and you'll look more unique on your big day :)

My dress is not online and i love it - no one will have seen it! :)

I'd love to be able keep mine a complete surprise but I'd be afraid it wouldn't look right, I would need the opinion. Anyway went in but the dress was the last one and only a size 8, so no chance of it ever fitting me. They had got one other one but it just didn't do anything for me.

So back to the drawing board. I'll have a good look this weekend.

I didn't end up going dress shopping after all, I was too tired and just not in the mood at all. I did look around a bit online to get a bit of an idea, but definitely going this weekend.

I spent all day Saturday and some of yesterday Monday (had the day off work) shopping around for my dress. I tried on some fabulous ones and there are 3 of them I really like. One is a bit out of my price range but it's out of this world I'd have to see if I could cut back elsewhere to get it. So I left it and I'm going to go back next week and try them on again to see if I still feel the same.

You know what it's like though you'll always find the extra somewhere to get the dress that you want.

Is there anyone maybe you could ask to give you an early wedding present of money or something if you need it?
