I cant wait to start trying on dresses, I probably wont bother trying to lose weight for the wedding, just tone up a bit, so id be safe enough looking for dresses in my own size!

Re: Trying on dresses
oh dear, I don't have mine yet. My partner has her outfit already, a white gothic shirt, and cream pants...me...I've changed my mind so many times...but I need to kick myself into gear. I don't want a typical wedding gown, but something that ties in with who I am and our handfasting, so next week I'm going to be shopping like mad to find the one perfect (or near as) that I can get lol.
Well done on having yours.
I promise to bring camera and upload an image once I find it.

Re: Trying on dresses
to tell you the truth I wasn't going to get a typical dress either.. but I ended up getting one anyway
so now I have to stick with untraditional accessories...
You will know the dress when you see it, I would say don't settle if its not perfect

*grins* I do also believe in getting the perfect wedding dress, but that's difficult when you have a vision in your head, that is hard to describe, and you can't find anywhere even online (I have traweled through thousands of wedding dress sites). So as near to perfection as is possible will suit me as time (my darling keeps reminding me), is rolling in lol.
I've looked in cork, I've looked in Limerick...Galway and Dublin is next.

Re: Trying on dresses
Have you thought of getting it made?? or making it yourself?
I am like that too, once I have something in my head nothing else will match up to it.. but you might find something that you like better than whats in your head.. thats what happened me

If I haven't gotten one by the start of AUG that suits me, i'll be annoying dressmakers all over limerick city.

I find ebay annoting when looking for something in particular.. you might find something close to it, or the right thing in the wrong colour, but rarely the perfect thing
