What if you delayed an album, would that change the price? Leave it a few months after the wedding until you have some more funds to do up the album, most photographers leave the final payment untill after the album is recieved. Also you could get a cd only package then you still have your photos. Our photorapher is €1700 for the whole day from my house to the meal and then a storybook album, also if he only had one wedding that day, i.e ours he may have a second photographer there to catch the groomsmen and people arriving to the church!

the photographers all seem to be well out of my price range.. I am thinking of asking my cousin to do it, she did a photography course and she took all my photo's for my debs, they turned out fantastic.

Well to tell you the truth, he is more than we bugetted, but he was our first choice and we know him fairly well in a professional way and his other photographers as they do all of the local events at home so we are comfortable with them and heard a good review form another bride and though to hell with it, we will only do this once and the photos last forever. Making a saving on the videograher though as a friend of h2b done videography in college so will be getting him to do it and he will hopefully do it at a good price or as a wedding present!

Think we'll be getting one of H2b's family members to do the video, thats what they usually do for weddings and christenings etc... they usually turn out well... except that 1 time someone forgotn to turn it on  so dont think we'll get him to do it

Oh h2b had to do video for his cousins wedding years ago and missed them coming down the aisle for their recessional as he forgot to press record!!!  Hasnt been asked to do video since!!

Just make sure you get a reliable family member to do the video!! and as for asking your cousin, I'd go for it if she done a course and if she has good equipment, sure it could be her wedding present to you! My photogragher doesnt do a disc only option either, doesnt do a disc option at all. No harm in asking the photograher about delaying the album, the worst they are going to say is no!

Hi

We just got a definite from the church and our wedding reception venue that our date is available, so we are chuffed about that. I didn't like the idea of changing date or venue at all, we had already told most people the date etc. Now I can start planning things a bit better.
