The bridal shower is where people give the bride gifts, if you google it there is an explanation, it seems to be more of an american thinng and dont think I would bother with it as would feel that I would be forcing ppl to give me a gift! Im leaving gifts open, not going to mention them to anyone so it is left open for ppl to give what or if they want!

Exactly grogmg.. I would hate to forse people into giving gifts, especially in this climate.
If people ask us what we want, we are just going to say money, because we don't really need anything else

I never though of it till you mentioned it and then though Id check it out, but dont think it would be my cup of tea at all!!!!

Im a bit old fashioned, I would like to get proper presents like wine glasses and picture frames and things, but wouldnt mind some money myself. We dont have much as we are renting and just get places that are furnished and then in Donegal we jus live in our home houses so really have nothing so I wouldnt mind presents, mind you most will end up in my attic till we would get our own place!

Well we lived together for 3yrs.. at the moment I am living at home. But we still have most of the stuff. I really don't think we need anything, I wouldn't mind a few picture frames.. But I also think money is better because then you can buy the things you want for your house
