Re: goodfellas band?
Thats brill that htey are still free for your wedding, I had them kinda as a first choice and our next choice was a local band and both were booked for our date!!
Went and saw a different band there last week and just paid the deposit for them today, so thats band sorted. They have a dj included in the package, not 100% sure if we are going to get them to dj or gt a fella that was a year ahead of h2b at school who djs, might get him to do it for longer than the band!

what band did you go with in the end? i'm always unsure when it comes to dj's because they can really make or brake the the atmosphere, if there song choices are terrible people will just sit down, or worse, leave the room. i think thats the main reason why i didnt want dj only.

The band ive gone with are the Cavanagh brothers they are from Donegal, but the other end of hte county to me so had never heard them before, but knew after listening to them for about 10 mins and chatting to one of the that they were perfect. Going ot try and get to listen to them properly at some point at a wedding fro the full band and dj option to see if we are going with the dj or not!

I was at a wedding at the weekend and the band playing was Harlequin, I'm nearly sure that was their name, must double check. They were just brilliant and a pleasure to listen to. I'm going to see if they are available for my date.

I've heard alot about these from other people and they are supposed to be brilliant at a wedding. I did hear they get booked out very fast, so I think you need to book them really early on.

I've seen these play, Harlequin that is, and they were very good and very nice, it was at a wedding fair I was at with my friend about 18 months ago. There not a bad price either as far as I can remember.

I'm definitely going to get a price from these, and see if they have my date free.
